Vegetable Juice Recipes

Here is a small part of my personal collection of vegetable juice recipes. I’ll be adding more as time goes on.
Just a quick note, that as you develop personal taste and skill as a juicer you will also develop your own recipes and discover what tastes you really like the best.
So as time goes on you will no doubt begin to create your own recipes and adapt those you come across.
For example, many people like a sweeter juice when they begin juicing but later slowly wean themselves off onto juices that have very low sugar content, which of course is healthier, too.
Most of the recipes that follow have either apple, carrot or beet in them; this is to help you be initiated into the world of juicing because for beginners, pure not-sweet vegetable juice can be a bit of a turn-off.
Personally as an experienced juicer I now prefer a juice that is not really sweet at all (actually I have never cared for carrot juice although most people find it delicious), so now most of my recipes for personal use contain all or mostly vegetables with a very low sugar content. You will develop your own preferences as time goes on.
Of course if you prefer a less-sweet juice right off the bat juice exclude the carrot, apple or beet that’s called for and add more of the other ingredients or something else entirely!
Just remember those items give out a lot of juice so you may have to replace it with something fairly substantial to get the same amount of juice as the original recipe provides.

Basic Carrot Juice
- Carrots
Sweet Beet Juice
- 1/2 beet
- Some beet greens
- 2 celery stalks
- ½ cucumber
Good n’ Green
- 1 large kale leaf
- Bunch dandelion greens or other bitter greens
- 2 carrots
Sweetie Pie Juice (very very sweet)
- 1 apple
- 4 or 5 carrots
- 1/2 beet
Cool as a Cucumber Juice
- 4 to 6 lettuce, spinach, or any leafy green you enjoy the taste of
- 2 celery stalks
- ½ cucumber
Glorious Green Super Juice
- 1 apple
- 1 pear
- Handful parsley
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley
- 1 small zucchini
- 2 stalks celery
- 1/2 cucumber
