Breville Juicer Reviews

If you are considering purchase a Breville juicer and need to read some Breville juicer reviews then you have come to the right site.

I did a lot of research on juicers when I was buying one last year, because I like to know everything about a product before I decide to buy it, and these Breville juicer reviews are the result.

If you’re in a hurry and want to know the best place to buy a Breville juicer, then Amazonhas the lowest prices by far. It’s actually quite difficult to find them in regular stores–the big-box stores don’t seem to have them, so online shopping is your best bet.

If you’re like me you probably want a juicer because you struggle with eating the 5-9 recommended servings of fruits and vegetables per day.

This is really something that I struggled with for years before I made the decision to get healthy.  It’s particularly hard if you have picky eaters in your family, or if you just don’t have the time to wash, peel, cut up and cook veggies and fruits for every meal.

If time is an issue for you, then having a Breville juicer will really help.  In any Breville juicer reviews you read you will find that they all agree that the juicers are fast and very efficient, so you get the maximum amount of juice out of your fruits and veggies.

Juicers are also really good if you’re trying to lose some weight, do a detox, or just feel better generally. Personally I’ve done a few brief  juice detox diets over the last year and it’s made a big difference in terms of  over-all health and feeling good.

Breville Juicer Reviews

The Breville company has many different models of juicer and several of the most popular juicers that are available on the market today are made by Breville.

The three most popular Breville juicers are:

The juicers are really nice looking, pretty enough to store on your counter. Depending on what you want you can spend between $100-$300+ on a Breville juicer.  The more expensive ones have things like more powerful motors, or they are even faster, bigger or have extra bells and whistles.

The two models rated most highly by Breville juicer reviews in terms of customer satisfaction and quality are the BEJ200XL and the 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite. The average customer rating for these juicers on Amazonis 4 1/2 stars out of 5–probably because they are a good combination of powerful and more affordable.

You can tell how well a juicer utilizes your fruit and veggies by the texture of the pulp left in the juicer after juicing.

If it’s very wet, that indicates that a lot of juice was wasted, as it’s still in the pulp and not in your glass.

If it’s quite dry, that means you got a good bang for your buck, and the most juice possible is sitting in your glass, rather than your pulp basket.

Another thing noted in most Breville juicer reviews is that you will find that the left-over pulp is very dry, indicating good usage of your fruits and veggies.

What this means is that you will be saving money in the long run, as you will be getting the most out of your fruits and veggies. Depending on where you live, fresh fruit and vegetables can get expensive, so this can be a real saving in the long run.

Assembly, Cleaning and Material Quality

All Breville juicers are dishwasher-safe and come pre-assembled. This is good for a person like me who is not technologically-inclined, and if time is an issue than you want something that can be taken apart in a few seconds and simply plopped in the dish-washer.

Another good thing about a dish-washer safe juicer is that it can be a health risk to leave a juicer unwashed for a even a few hours. You can get unhealthy chemical reactions or get mold growing on your juicer from this, and as safety was one of the biggest concerns I had about buying a juicer, I felt that it was an important factor to consider when writing these Breville juicer reviews.

It will also stain your juicer if you leave it unwashed and have made something with a strong colour, like beet or carrot juice.

It’s also important to be safe, and juicers that are made entirely of plastic can also be a health hazard. Germs from not-quite-cleaned off foods left in the juicer will breed much more quickly on a plastic surface than on a metallic one.

Every Breville juicer is made out of chrome and/or steel, so you don’t have the worry of germs breeding in your juicer. I also think that the materials are very attractive–chic-looking and smooth to the touch, and many other folks who’ve written their own Breville juicer reviews have noted the same thing.

Breville juicers also come with powerful, fast motors–the Juice Fountain Elite, for example, has a two-speed control of 6500-1300 RPM–that’s a lot of power for a kitchen appliance.

Here’s a Breville juicer reviews from someone who bought the Breville Elite 800JEXL:

Negatives

The down side is that a Breville juicer will cost more than other brands, but this is because they are made of higher-quality material and contain more powerful motors.

So you will have to shell out more for the initial purchase, but you will get a juicer that will last a good long time and be very smooth and easy to operate, plus it will juice produce more efficiently.

Other smalls problems noted in Breville juicer reviews and by Breville owners are just certain quirks of particular models, for example, the BJE200XL is so powerful that very small items, like grapes or small radishes can sometimes be sucked down through the juicer so quickly that they do not get juiced and simply end up in the pulp basket.

The BJE820 is taller than most other juicers, at “16.75, so it may not fit under lower cupboards, and the cover on the Juice Fountain Elite requires a certain amount of strength to snap it in place.

Best Deals and Where to Buy

As I mentioned previously, the cheapest and easiest place to get a Breville juicer is from Amazon. I’m choosy about my appliances and electronics, and I like to buy them from a big-name company I know I can trust.

You can get free shipping from Amazon if you live in the USA, and just like with most of their other merchandise, you’re looking at paying about 30% less than you would buying it anywhere else, plus you can send it back for a refund or exchange if you change your mind or don’t like it as much as you thought. Amazon also has lots of Breville juicer reviews from other customers if you’re interested in reading more.

Warranty

All Breville juicers come with at least a 1-year warranty, and as with many other appliances, you can extend that warranty into 3-years if you pay a few dollars extra.

I know that a 1-year warranty may not sound that great for such high-end juicers, but remember that it has to cover people who are going to use their juicer 24/7, which, let’s face it, most of us are not.
